Senior Management Team

Rachael Kwawegen – Managing Director

Rachael is a property and strata management professional, bringing over 15 years experience to The Strata Agency. Starting her career at one of the largest real estate agency in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, she has worked across all areas of property, including rentals, sales, administration and strata management.

Rachael was also a member of a senior management team of a progressive and innovative strata management company in 2001. In less than 18 months Rachael helped grow the business from 2,000 apartments under management to 22,000 by acquiring and integrating over 18 strata businesses.

In her two main roles within that company as a Senior Asset Manager and Operations Manager, Rachael was responsible for managing a team of over 20 strata managers and support staff in New South Wales and Western Australia. Rachael managed a diverse portfolio of company title, residential, commercial, hotel and industrial strata schemes ranging from 2 lots to over 200. During her tenure, Rachael was involved in implementing innovative business processes and management structures involving the launch of the industry’s first customised CRM system.

Justin Steer – General Manager

Justin Steer is a Licensed Real Estate and Strata Managing Agent, as well as a Registered Valuer, who possesses outstanding knowledge and expertise in all aspects of the property industry, with vast experience in residential and commercial sales, property management and strata management, and two tertiary qualifications to his name.

Following eight years of dedicated study, Justin successfully earned himself an Advanced Certificate in Property Agency as well as an Advanced Diploma of Property Valuation, enabling him to perfectly combine best practice and theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience in the field.

He has run his own business, built rent rolls, managed 200-unit plus buildings and sold residential real estate for many years, both in franchised and independent agencies.

Justin has chosen to work with The Strata Agency due to its exceptional training and high business standards; its young, boutique, fresh and dynamic brand; and its focus on providing exceptional customer service.

Kelly Pride – Strata Manager

Kelly is a qualified Property and Strata Managing Agent, bringing with her 7 years experience in property sector. Kelly is experienced in the management of residential and commercial properties, company title properties, Building Management Committees and Community Associations. With this experience Kelly is able to address situations in a manner that reaches high expectations and result for all parties.

Kelly has the ability to build longstanding relationships and sound rapports with owners and collegues.

Kelly has high expectations and morals for herself and of others. She is a strong believer that life is what you make of it, with work being made up of 85 percent of everyday, its vital to Kelly that she not only enjoys her work and surroundings but to have achieved a fulfilled day’s work.

Kimberlina Parkes – Strata Manager

Kimberlina is one of our senior Strata Managers and has over 8 years experience in the strata industry.  Kimberlina manages a portfolio of both residential and commercial properties predominately located throughout the Eastern Suburbs. Kimberlina provides a focused and truly professional service to our clients.

Sarah Macaulay - Strata Manager

Sarah has worked in strata management since 2007 and manages a portfolio ranging from the Eastern Suburbs to the Lower North Shore and is focused on building lasting customer relationships.

Sarah currently holds a certificate of registration as issued by the NSW Office of Fair Trading and is currently undertaking further studies in order to obtain a strata managing agents license. Sarah has worked for some of the larger strata company’s in Sydney and was able to gain some valuable training and on the job learning adding to her various skills and knowledge. Sarah is dedicated to providing the highest quality of customer service at all times.

Candy Alba-Guillon – Trust Accountant

Candy joined The Strata Agency at the commencement of 2010, and brings with her approximately 14 years strata accounting experience. Candy holds a certificate of registration as issued by the NSW Office of Fair Trading. Candy has completed a degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Accounting, with distinction, and is currently completing her Associate of CPA Society of Australia. Candy is also a NSW Justice of the Peace.

Candy is able to easily grasp and understand the most technical issues and resolve them efficiently. She has a professional manner and appearance, is committed and helpful, dedicated and honest and certainly an asset to our company.
